  1. I think this is a cool idea, but I am not convinced that the 1910 design is better than the new one. Here is a link to the new design proposed: http://la.curbed.com/archives/2013/08/there_will_be_some_modest_makeover_efforts_at_pershing_square.php - Looks well thought out at least.

    I think if it were truly restored, that there would be a focus on having great trees and even some native plants would be nice. That's what LA really should look like! Palm trees and a fountain do not send the right message.

    1. The Gensler video in the link you shared does not actually show a proposed new design, but reflects an independent space usage study made by the architecture firm. There is a lot of interest in the "problem" of Pershing Square, and while we think the 1910 design is the best solution, we enjoy hearing other ideas from folks who care about the park. Thanks for your feedback, and please stay involved.
